What a great and entertaining webpage. Cobbler Rake info - you are welcome to give me a shout for more info if you are struggling :o) Cheers and The Best of Best Regards!
hi, this website is brillant! i can't believe how much rolling stock you have! I am also modelling the WCML but Preston Station. I will be including catenery by sommerfledt and homemade as well! I still can't believe how similar our layouts are, but i think yours is a little further in front than mine, i havent even finished laying the trackwork yet! I hope that when you get round to building the catenery you post some info on how easy it is to install! joe. http://www.mygift.org.ua
Hi,
I'm a great fan of Electrics and Rail UK forum- "Dave" on there btw, and was wondering what couplings you use for your fleet? Also, If you've got any Class 90 roof pictures I could see, that would be fantastic. Also, will we ever get to see the layout itself?
Cheers,
Dave
very interesting site but I have been unable to find out WHO you are I am a member of Rugby Model railway Club why not make youself known to us? e-mail me
great website mate am currently planning to model lancaster but it is a pain trying to get class 86,87 and 90. do you know a place that may have some? your layout is an inspiration to us all, kind regards campbell
Interesting article on the uses of Roco & Hornby "close" couplers. Have you tried Hornby's on the Bachmann Mk2, Recent Mag articles say it is not possible however I disagree and would like to hear a second opinion before spouting forth. They do not couple if you shunt coach to coach but with the slight lengthways play in the Bach Close Coupling mechanism they can be made to couple and work effectively. I would be interested in what you think.
Regards
Mark
Fine Website! Nice stock! Excellent Archive of photographs! Your now on my favourites! All the best for the layout, can't wait to see some pic! Regards Dave.

im 13 years old and have a passionate liking to model railways. i am thinking of starting one up myself and I found this site very, very inspirational. my sincere thanks to mr whoeverdidthissite.
Nice article & photos explaining how to modify Hornby bases & Sommerfeldt pantographs. I usually engineer the pan so it can detach from the loco if it snags in the overhead, it
Looks to be coming along nicely. The plan looks good, simple yet effective. Ideal to watch the trains go by. Any more photos coming of the layouts progress?
Outstanding collection of AC Traction. Take it from a child of the late 70's the next best thing would be roarers parked on the Clyde Viaduct waiting to back onto their stock. Top quality building... respect.
If anyone wishes for a model to be super detailed, re-numbered or weathered to any requirement then this chap is the person for you!
He is freindly and reliable and gives 100% satisfaction on the finished product. For those of you who would like visual proof just go to his workbench page and then click 'projects' and you can see what a great model he did for me!
Also by giving regular updates on your models progress there is no need to worry about when it will be finished as you can see for yourself!
Also a great website and a modelling inspiration to many others, keep up the great work jason! with thanks from Neil
In your photo, workbench entry for 7th Feb, it looks as if Samson has got himself a prime example of Vermin Trains there! You should reward him with a little treat, maybe a rat in two tone green?
well done Jason im very impresed with your layout and the amute of locomotives and stock you own.

Surprised to read my name in the description of 85030, and glad to see someone not only reads my scribble in AClines but is able to build an 85 from the article....!
