Presidents Presentation!
87028 is now now finally finished. However, she is welcome to make a short visit top the workshop to be fitted with a 'Hurst' High speed pantograph once I have some more kits made up. but I think she`ll be just fine for now! Finished in a 'spruced-up' condition, it looks like she`s ready to work a prestigious charter!

The Lord just needs putting back together, and it`s as good as finished! Pictures to come shortly.
Original pantograph has been fitted, but this will be replaced with a Hurst Models Brecknell-Willis high speed pantograph once I have made a few more.........

Lord Patient!
Temporarily put together for the pose infront of the camera, 87028 looks like we are FINALLY getting there! (Sorry for the delay....)
The bodyshell is to receive coats of Satin Varnish, before being flush-glazed. Then, wind-screen wipers and front grab-rails can be added.
Then there`s the pantograph.....

Here we can see the chassis which is now almost complete. Just a couple of extra touches, then work can resume on the body.

Work has finally commenced on the chassis, with bufferbeam dtailing being most noticeable. All looks quite messy at the moment, but by tomorrow, it`s going to be looking good!

It`s almost as if Lord President has been on the NHS waiting list, but the Lord has finally managed to make a further visit to the surgery, and his latest operation has gone very well, and he is in a stable condition.......
In plain English, all front end detailing to the body has been done, and is currently wearing grey undercoat....

Flawed President.......
Well, it`s no longer 87101, but is far from being 87028 just yet. It`s all in pieces, and is expected to be unoperable for a few weeks. Work has started on the front ends, with all unwanted front end detail being removed.

This model is to become 87028 'Lord President' in its GBRf guise. No, it doesn`t look much like 87028 at the moment, but watch this space....
